SpeedRush is a third-person, upbeat, competitive-yet-casual, “forward-facing” on-foot racing game with platformer elements. Sporting a bright, colorful and heavily stylized world and characters, Rush is targeted at a semi-casual, broad demographic of “core” and “non-core” gamers alike. Simple yet challenging and fast-paced gameplay, expressive and recognizable characters, and visual and audial delight are the guiding principles of this project (realism is our last priority!), along with shared fun, excitement and friendly competition.
Words With Benefits is a dating app where players can create and customize a profile, choose potential love interests, and go on a virtual “date” to find the perfect match. Players progress through levels and learn more about their dates by solving word puzzles and unscrambling user-generated hobbies and interests. Players can also get to know each other by using the in-app messaging system. We are excited to be working with you as our mentor and we look forward to hearing your insights.

The game begins with the player standing in a dark room as lamps begin to float down from above. once the lamps reach a certain height, the player is able to point and throw light into them using a button on their controller, which acts like a flamethrower allowing sparkling light to jump into the lamps. once a lamp is lit, it remains suspended in the air and serves to illuminate the surrounding space. the player’s goal is to light up the entire space before a certain number of lamps reach the ground.
This is the first project from my CTIN 483 Class during the fall 2016. Project task was to create a classic game. We decided to create the original Frogger game in Unity.
Written by the designer: The Sound of Separation is a 2D side scroller with platformer aesthetics. It focuses on visuals, music, and sounds to communicate narrative and changes in emotional state. The core of the game lies within simple puzzles that allow the player to relive the character’s memories, altering her mood and her future.

Preview
This document will show the feedback and comment received from the tester during the playtest. According to the designer the game ideas is that players are on the run after “successful” heists in this 2-player co-op, side-scrolling, multidimensional action game. Only one player can attack at a time. The players’ start on opposite sides of the world, and the only way they can help each other is by trading off the ability to attack. The game can view as a cool experience for the player to interact with each other. The game is more like a fighting game; there is no story or any other narrative. This is more about playing about player vs. player type of game. The game is one develop right now, but more feature will be add it, which it would be cool for play.
